PETER JACKSON just can't wait for Town's big kick-off at Stockport on Saturday.

"I'm confident," he said, as Town aim to build on promotion with more success in the newly re-named Galpharm Stadium.

"I firmly believe we are one of a dozen teams who can challenge at the top and I've every faith in my squad that they will be among the hardest working and hardest to beat in Coca-Cola League I.

"We have prepared well, we are a settled club both on and off the field and we've got a lot of supporters behind us, so if we can make a bright start I see no reason why we can't have another wonderful season."

On the stadium, Jackson added: "The Galpharm sponsorship is tremendous news.

"I've been good friends with Graham Leslie since I signed for the club and he was instrumental in getting the stadium project off the ground, so I'm delighted it now has his company's name. What's good for the stadium is good for Town and the Giants."
