JOEL LYNCH is backing Jack Hunt to bounce back from his red-card setback.

The right-back was sent off for foul and abusive language towards referee Graham Scott during the 4-0 defeat at Millwall.

Hunt must serve a two-match ban – against Bristol City today and Blackburn at home on Tuesday.

He will come back into contention for next Saturday’s derby at Barnsley.

Lynch, dismissed during the 3-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday, said: "You worry that when your ban is up, you won’t get back in.

"Jack apologised to us straight after the game.

"He knows he was in the wrong, but he’s a great lad who will learn his lesson and he will come back strongly."
