MIDFIELDER Jon Worthington is the biggest doubt for FC Halifax Town as they make the 212-mile round trip to North Wales tonight to take on Colwyn Bay (7.45).

The Shaymen were 3-0 victors on the road in their last away game at Solihull Moors and they will be keen to continue their excellent form with just one defeat in the last 10 matches – which also includes six clean sheets.

Town can make it 10 away wins for the season in the Blue Square North with a victory, something that eluded them on Saturday as they were held to a 0-0 draw with Brackley Town at The Shay.

Manager Neil Aspin will still be without defender Liam Hogan, while former Huddersfield Town player Worthington (right) remains a doubt due to a persistent ankle problem which kept him out of the squad at the weekend.

Aspin was keen to put the Brackley result behind him and said: “I’ve said to the players, with all the games we’ve got to play, you don’t have time to dwell on anything. You get it played and you move onto the next game.”

The Seagulls won the reverse fixture at The Shay 1-0, inflicting a first defeat of the season for Halifax in their opening home game of the new campaign.
