DALTON Dynamoes remain among the leaders in Division 1A of the Under 17s following their 5-2 win at Ossett Town.

Oliver Scott and Daniel Lockwood added to Joe Dunstan’s hat trick to secure the points.

Matthew Schofield, Jack Farnell, Joel Harrison and Jacob Currid were on target as Meltham Under 17s retained top spot in Division 1B with a solid 4-2 victory at Wakefield.

Netherton Under 16s have already opened up a five-point gap between themselves and nearest rivals Elland.

Four wins from their first four games has given Netherton the perfect start and hopes of improving on their fourth place in the Under 15s last season.

Victory at Deighton keeps Clifton Rangers Under 15s in the chase for the Division I title.

Callum John scored for the home side but replies from Ryan Thompson, David Matterson and Josh Margison secured the win for Clifton.

But Clifton remain in third place as rivals Hartshead and league leaders YMCA also picked up three points.

A single goal for Wyke Wanderers was not enough to stop Hartshead gaining a 3-1 home victory.

Rowan Binns, Brandon Hemmingway and Luke McCarron struck the goals to add another three points to the Hartshead tally.

Meanwhile, at Laund Hill, Shelf scored twice in their attempt to overturn the league leaders but, replies from Jake Robshaw, Edward Hemingway, Jay Brogan-Ellis and Jonathan Krishnapillai ensured victory for the home side who, with five wins from their first five games, retain top spot in Division I.

In Division IV of the Under 15s, Brighouse had to settle for a share of the points after an eight-goal thriller at Lepton.

Ben Lock (2), Joe Sedgewick and Declan O’Reilly struck for Brighouse but replies from Liam Atkinson (2), Luke Barsby and Harry Mason made it level for the Highlanders.

Deighton Under 13s’ hopes of a second successive promotion are building fast after the Second Division leaders retained their 100% start with a solid win over Batley.

Four goals for Jordan Lashington and one for Tom Lowbridge ensured a 5-0 victory and another three points.

Although second-placed Westend went down 3-1 at Linthwaite, there’s no let up for Deighton as goals from Callum Shipman and Eoin Schofield secured a 2-1 victory for Lepton at Penistone.

Another team notching up their fourth win from as many games was Battyeford Under 12s but their victory over bottom club Scholes was no easy ride.

Scott Hartley and Cameron Sheridan scored as Scholes tried hard to unsettle the Division III promotion hopefuls, but in the end replies from Tom Edwards, Blaine Hickman-Bryant and a Joe Taylor hat trick finished off any hopes of an upset as Battyeford retained their 100% record.

Skelmanthorpe progressed to the third round of the Sheffield County FA Under 16 Cup with a 3-2 victory over Thorncliffe.

Goals from Blackburn (2) and Kilner put the Huddersfield Second Division side into the hat for the next round.
