TOWN Ladies produced a rather disjointed performance and lost by a solitary goal to Hull City.
Despite dominating possession for long periods and creating plenty of chances, the final pass or shot let them down and they were unable to reply to Hull's strike on the stroke of half time.
Town's second team were unlucky to lose their goalkeeper Tanya Nunn after only five minutes, and with no substitute keeper on the bench they were caught wanting in the later stages as Silsden scored four late goals in a 4-2 victory.
Becky Catling had given Town the lead at half-time, but playing all the second half with only 10 players finally took its toll as the home side netted four late goals.
The visitors never gave in, however, and Clare Gibson reduced the arrears with Town's second just before the final whistle.
Steph Foster was outstanding at the heart of the defence as the club's Under 16s narrowly lost 2-1 at Doncaster Rovers Belles.
They fell behind midway through the first half, but levelled through Megan Bamber with just five minutes left.
However, Doncaster struck from a late corner leaving Town no time to reply.
The club's Under 14 and Under 16 teams were without fixtures at the weekend but will spring into action on Saturday.
