AS the big referee debate rumbles on in the wake of the Mark Clattenburg affair, Graham Salisbury has been put in charge of Huddersfield Town’s clash with Bristol City on Saturday.
The Lancashire whistler was the man in the middle when Simon Grayson’s side won 3-1 at Sheffield Wednesday last month, sending off Joel Lynch and Joe Mattock.
Salisbury, 49, who took the Leeds v Birmingham game last Saturday, has shown four cards in the 13 matches he has taken so far this season.
He has been refereeing Football League matches since 2001, with his first Town game a 1-1 home League I draw with Brentford in November of that year.
Wiltshire’s Roger East will be in charge when Blackburn visit Town on Tuesday.
He was the referee when Town beat Sheffield United on penalties in the League I play-off final at Wembley in May and officiated at last night’s Wigan v Bradford Capital One Cup fourth-round clash.
East, 47, took charge of his first Premier League match earlier this season when Swansea drew 2-2 with Sunderland, controversially sending off home star Michu for a high tackle.
He was also in charge of Fulham’s win over West Brom, dismissing Albion’s Peter Odemwingie.
