LEE CLARK is promising fans who invest in a season-ticket the fittest Town team they’ve seen.

His promotion shot will be based on hard work, discipline and organisation but his new-look squad will be urged to pass the ball as much as possible.

“Next season will not be easy because a number of sides will be in contention for promotion, but I am confident we can be successful,” said Clark, preparing for tomorrow’s Galpharm League I clash with Southend after the away double success at Hereford and Bristol Rovers.

“By supplementing our already talented squad over the summer with players who possess the quality necessary for this level and higher, I feel we will be in a strong position to turn this club’s potential into reality.

“I want the team to entertain, but the most important thing is to have a winning team.

“The team will play with commitment, character and a desire to win and, rest assured, the players will be ultra-fit, which they need to be to play the style of passing football I demand.”

A six-week pre-season is already pencilled in to prepare the squad for a campaign and Clark added: “The players are going to be the fittest they have ever been.

“The regime I’m planning, the backroom staff we’ve got here and what we are going to do with the squad means the players will be fit, lean and light and that will benefit everyone.”

Season-ticket prices for adults start from £99 in the new Fantastic Family Stand lower tier, which is equivalent to £4.30 a game. Town have more than 1,900 seats available in that section.

It’s £249 for 23 home matches in the Antich Stand and £299 (lower tier) and £379 (upper) in the Direct Golf UK main stand.

At the north end – sponsored by Fantastic Media – there will be matchday entertainment and events geared towards children and families (hence the change in name) and with Under 13s going free when they buy with an adult or senior, it means a family of two adults and two Under 13s can watch for £398 in the upper tier (that’s £4.32 per person per game). In the lower tier, the same family would pay the equivalent of £2.15 per person.

Blue & White Foundation members get a 5% discount (not available on line) and there are concessions for disabled supporters and visually impaired fans.

Supporters have the chance to pay over six monthly instalments and Town season-tickets also include two vouchers for discounted Giants admission.

Supporters can also upgrade to be part of the new executive White Rose Club as an ordinary member, gold member or diamond member, with details from the club.

Matchday prices for the Galpharm will be categorised next season depending on the opposition, and these will be announced only after the fixtures have been released in June.

In the season-ticket offer, those holders who wish to retain their existing seats must buy on or before Friday, May 1. Those renewing but wishing to change their seat must buy between May 5 and June 1.

Season-ticket prices will increase from Tuesday, June 2, by £70 adults, £35 seniors and students and £20 Under 18s. Under 13 and Under 8 prices remain unchanged.

A car-park pass in St Andrews Road is £120 and in Town Avenue, £135.
