Huddersfield Town suffered a sixth successive league defeat at Leicester on Saturday after in-form striker James Vaughan saw red.

The 25-year-old was given his marching orders after a two-handed shove in the back on Marcin Wasilewski in the 84th minute, with the Terriers eventually losing 2-1.

Despite stand-out performances from keeper Alex Smithies and substitutes Scannell and Holmes, Mark Robins' men have now gone five league games without a win ahead of Saturday's big home derby against Leeds.

We have one player in the starting 11 that did not play for Town last season - Hogg. Why is the team stronger, as some people say? It's not, we just defend in numbers this season, but still keep losing games by the odd goal. Our goal threat, just like last season, is very poor and we need to strengthen. Stephen, Puerto Santiago

A very open and entertaining game. I thought both goalkeepers put in Man of the Match performances. Shame that Vaughan was sent off, as the referee only saw the retaliation and missed Vaughan being completely taken out by their player beforehand. Graham, Huddersfield

We deserved a point, but a big let down by Vaughan and agree with Robins that there should have been two red cards. Now we will have to see what Stead and Paterson can do - or even Carr. It's been a long time since we had as many shots in one game, even if they were off target. Robins says that Holmes wants nurturing, but if he's ready then he should start next week. David, Huddersfield

Town could have had a point if Vaughan had not been so reckless - they were all over Leicester at that time. David, Wyke

A good performance if you discount the first twenty minutes and Vaughan's rush of blood. However the facts are stark - one win in eight league games is a worry, but with Holmes pushing for a start and a chance for the other strikers to stake a claim, we can win the next three.
