LEPTON HIGHLANDERS grabbed a place in the last 32 of the West Riding County FA Junior Trophy (Under 14) when goals from Jack Harrison (2), Oliver Cooper (2) and captain Morgan Little gave the RCD League Division I side a comfortable 5-1 win over Halifax side HAFC.

Honley Under 12s visited Selby for their Junior Trophy second round game and came home with a fine 3-0 win thanks to goals from Dylan, Brett, Oliver Willitts and Thomas Rose.

Fellow RCD club Kirkheaton also enjoyed a successful awayday.

Joseph Fox, Nathan Eastwood, Aiken Crowther, James McNeil, Dane Winterbottom and Matthew Wall slammed six past Sandy Lane at Bingley to give Kirkheaton a comfortable 6-1 win and a place in the hat for the third round draw.

A hat trick for Tom Wall helped Junior Collegians into the next round of the Junior Shield when they entertained Ryburn FC at their Salendine Nook High School home.

Further goals from Oliver Dyson (2) and Jordan Townend sealed a 6-1 win over the Halifax side.

In the Under 16 Junior Cup, YMCA found the target on no less than 13 occasions as the Laund Hill side stormed into the last 32 of the county competition.

David Pearson led the way with a five-goal haul, followed by Daniel Carr (4), Liam Tattersall (2), Ben Burnett and Bryn Green.

The Wakefield side could manage only a single consolation as YMCA cruised to a 13-1 win.
