TOWN boss Peter Jackson shook hands with every one of his derby heroes then said: "We have to build from here."

"It was a high-tension derby, we knew we would come under pressure and we coped with it," said Jackson, who played a five-man midfield for the third away game running.

"In the first half we played some good stuff and were never really threatened.

"After the break we came under pressure, and we really had to roll our sleeves up after Danny Adams was sent off.

"I'd said to the players at half-time that we have to start keeping clean sheets and we've done that.

"I was disappointed with the sending off, because I don't think the first booking was a booking, and overall, I thought the referee controlled the game poorly.

"It wasn't a particularly dirty game yet there was a sending off and five other yellow cards."

Former Bradford captain Jackson, whose side climbed four places to 13th in League I, added: "It was a fantastic win and I'm delighted for my players.

"They have come under a bit of criticism recently, and some people have said that they don't care about this club, but they showed that's rubbish.

"We know we're capable of climbing the table further and we have to kick on from here."
