Huddersfield Town boss Chris Powell has challenged his side to prolong Brighton and Hove Albion's slow start to the season when the two teams meet in the midweek encounter at the John Smith's Stadium.

Brighton boss Sami Hyypia is feeling the pressure after going eight league games without a win and his Seagulls side face a resurgent Town, who - after beating Blackpool 4-2 - have now taken an impressive 10 points from a possible 12 since going down 3-0 in the West Yorkshire derby.

And while Powell believes that the south-coast outfit are more than capable of stopping the rot, he is hoping his team can ensure that does not begin tomorrow evening.

"I suppose they might say they haven't got going yet," he said.

"They have got some very good players but I am sure they will feel that they should be better off.

"I am sure they will get there - they are a side who are well backed, superb facilities, good chairman and I know the coaching staff there.

"It hasn't happened for them yet, and it's up to us to try and keep it that way."
