Huddersfield Town host Aston Villa tonight with the Terriers hoping to close the gap on Brighton and Newcastle United.

Town sit six points behind the Seagulls with a game in hand and can go within three of Chris Hughton's side with a win tonight - if Brighton lose in Rotherham.

Newcastle on the other hand face a tough trip to the Madejski Stadium to take on Reading, but have an 11-lead built up on the Terriers.

In David Wagner's way tonight is a resurgent Aston Villa side who have won three on the spin after a dreadful start to 2017.

Steve Bruce 's side have begun to gel, with the seven new faces welcomed to the squad in January now looking more settled in the claret and blue.

Town will be hoping to put the loss against Newcastle behind them and keep their automatic promotion hopes alive with a customary home win.
