Boss David Wagner is set to face the media at PPG Canalside ahead of the home clash against Chelsea on Tuesday evening (kick-off 8pm).

The Terriers will be hoping to record back-to-back home victories after the impressive 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday.

The result means the Terriers have now taken 14 points from eight home league games and currently lie 12th in the table.

On Borussia Dortmund links...

The German head coach has confirmed there was no contact from the German giants before they sacked Peter Bosz and appointed Peter Stöger as their new manager.

  • Share

On The Merseyside Derby...

Bizarrely the German head coach has randomly been asked if Everton’s penalty was legitimate or not...Who asks these questions?!!

(Not Rory Benson I hasten to add...)

On the title race...

My thoughts are so limited that I don’t have to think about this region of the table

Nicely put.

More on Focus...

I like to make sure we are focused on the present and the present for us is Chelsea and give every energy into this game and respect this opponent.

Everything changes, but stays the same...

New game, new challenge, new opponent. What doesn’t change is the John Smith’s Stadium - unbelievable support and Terriers on the grass.

On Keeping Focused...

Every game is a new game and every game has a new story.

We are not dreamers, we are workers. This is what counts tomorrow - work your socks off!

  • Share

On Home Comforts...

This is a completely different game because it is at the John Smith’s Stadium - playing at home gives our players that extra little bit of trust and belief in their quality because the supporters are behind them.

  • Share

On Winning Ugly...

I would take an ugly set piece goal if it decides the game in our favour!

We cannot give one easy chance away. We have to avoid unforced errors in our build up play and we have to be on our top level in our fighting and working attitude.

On Rajiv van La Parra...

He will be back in the squad - before his suspension he made some big steps offensively and defensively. He has something to prove.

  • Share

On the Fans...

Our supporters and players enjoy coming together when we have something to celebrate - he players like to thank the fans for their support.

If you have such amazing supporters as we have they deserve you to go to them, raise your hands and thank them for the support they gave you.

On the impossible being possible..

We cannot expect a positive result tomorrow but what we can expect is it to make it as uncomfortable as possible for Chelsea; we will then see what we can get out of the game.

Even if no one expects a result, in football anything can happen. We in Huddersfield know that more than any after last season

On being ready...

It’s important we are focused on ourselves and that we learn from our experiences.

We know exactly what we have to do to have a small chance and our supporters know what they have to do to help us have this small chance.

On Chelsea...

They are one of the biggest teams in England because they won the title last season; they’re a top team, we are happy to host them and we are very excited to face them.

On Forward Options...

On Steve Mounie...

He is a player who needs his best fitness level to perform. He is one of the fittest, strongest guys in our squad and he needed time to get back to that level.

I was very pleased for him (against Brighton) and us because we need goal scorers and goal threats in the squad and he is one
