Huddersfield Town fans were treated to a second win in eight days when Nahki Wells scored the only goal of the game to down Wolves.

The gritty, hard-fought 1-0 victory came at the end of an excellent week for Town, which started with the fantastic 2-0 away win at Nottingham Forest.

In the interim, Dean Hoyle spoke of his exciting plans for the future of the club and David Wagner celebrated his first 100 days in the Town dugout.

Following the final whistle on Saturday, many fans spoke of the pleasure in attaining all three points from a scrappy encounter - proof that the team can find other ways to win when their free-flowing, exciting style is stymied by the opposition.

David Wagner spoke of his pride in his players , who had learnt from their mistakes in letting a 1-0 win slip at Preston earlier this month.

The final whistle was greeted by a roar from the majority of the fans inside the stadium, who had been vocally backing their team to victory in the closing stages.
