Fans were in party mood as Huddersfield Town launched their Championship campaign with a 2-1 home win against Brentford.

Elias Kachunga and Kasey Palmer got the goals which enabled David Wagner’s new-look side – featuring six debutants in the starting line-up – to pick up the three points.

They were richly deserved and Wagner thanked every one of the Town fans who turned up for making it such a special atmosphere.
