Huddersfield Town fans celebrated a first victory in 30 years at Ewood Park with a 2-0 win and a solid display.

Nahki Wells was on the scoresheet for the 17th time this season while the second came courtesy of a Blackburn deflection - Matt Kilgallon the unlucky defender who doubled Town's lead.

It was a scrappy encounter devoid of entertainment for long periods, but although the hosts missed several big chances David Wagner's men were in total control for the majority of this game.

It was a welcome clean sheet following a total of six goals conceded in the previous three games and with safety all but confirmed Town can now start planning for the next campaign.

Here's what Town fans made of the match.

This result, plus news of Aston Villa's defeat to Manchester United, had a few fans googling directions to Villa Park.

And there was praise for the back line, and Mark Hudson in particular, in the pursuit of a clean sheet.

A few voiced their frustration with Harry Bunn for going down a bit too easily.

But Rajiv van La Parra continues to impress and Karim Matmour had a solid cameo.

There was some acknowledgement that the opposition ensured no one should get carried away...

But the players were just as delighted with the result as the fans!
