Huddersfield Town striker James Vaughan bagged his 11th goal of the season against Middlesbrough, but his team had to settle for a draw after Ben Gibson headed an equaliser for Tony Mowbray's side.

The in-form frontman added to his goal haul after 59 minutes, but Mark Robins side were unable to hold on to the lead.

The result meant a fourth stalemate in five league games for the Terriers.

Town were poor in defence. Why bring Jon Stead on instead of Holmes or Patterson? John, Lindley

Despite not winning, I thought the Terriers performed really well, and in my opinion, a point for both teams was a fair result. Obviously, it’s very disappointing that we didn’t hold on, but as fans, I think we’ve got to be positive with where we are at the moment. As I see it, things getting are better for Town as the season progresses, especially if we start being more consistent. Chris Green, Dalton

We would have taken a point before kick-off. A backs-to-the-wall second half, but we didn't crumble - unlike last season. Our midfield appears to have lost its way, not creating much and losing grip. Let's beat Watford and get back on track. Trojanhorse, Kirkburton

We are still not getting it right and teams are putting us under a lot of pressure - when it should be us who are doing it. Lynch is not a left back, so it's square pegs into round holes. The one player who got the team motivated against Blackpool was not played; it baffles me why Holmes did not get to play, as he could have been the catalyst for Town to bring back the three points. Stephen, PS

Scannell is a frustrating player to watch, he has so much potential but never seems to be in the game if he is in the starting line up. Danny Ward changed the game last night in my opinion. Dan, Elland

A very good point, but not so good a performance. Gobern looked very good, but Vaughan was isolated and Scannell was poor. We struggled to retain possession and at times had a lack of urgency and direction. A very good sub by Robins bringing on Ward - he looked lively. Robin, Lindley
