Huddersfield Town have ended Dale Hopson contract early by mutual agreement allowing the player to join Darlington.
The 21-year-old joined Town’s ahead of the start of the 2012-13 season and has made 32 appearances for the club’s Under 21 side – nine of which have come this term.
Huddersfield Town’s Senior Professional Development Coach Steve Eyre said: “Darlington is a club on the climb once again and the geography suits the player, as that’s where he’s from. We thank Dale for his endeavours at our Club and we wish him all the best.”
