Leading scorer Nahki Wells is hoping to get back into action on Huddersfield Town’s pre-season tour to Austria.

Wells missed the Liverpool match because of a knee niggle but was in the 28-man squad which flew out to Fugen via Germany, with no problems caused by the actrocity in Munich.

First-choice striker Wells sat out the Shankly Trophy match, which Town lost 2-0, along with Kasey Palmer (muscle) and Ivan Paurevic (illness), but they too have been included by head coach David Wagner.

Town have also taken four goalkeepers because Joe Murphy is in light training and building up his fitness. Ward, Joel Coleman and Luke Coddington are the others on duty for the friendlies against Werder Bremen on Tuesday and FC Ingolstadt on Friday.
