AFC Emley have struck a new sponsorship deal with Denby Dale firm Integra to underpin their push for promotion to the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.

Integra provide accountancy, tax and payroll services to small and medium-sized businesses and individuals throughout the local area.

The company have agreed an open-ended rolling commitment that will bring stability to the Welfare Ground club’s finances.

AFC Emley chairman Terry Higgins said: “I’m delighted to welcome Integra as our new main club and first-team home shirt sponsor.

“The club is in the best shape it has ever been in, both on and off the field, and a deal like this will help us continue to move forward on all fronts.”

Integra managing partner Dan Brownhill brokered the deal after joining AFC Emley’s committee over the summer.

He said: “We have long-term relationships with all our clients to advise them on their business and personal financial affairs.

“Integra recognised the value an ongoing commitment would bring to AFC Emley. We’re really looking forward to being involved and helping the club continue to make further strides.”

AFC Emley manager Darren Hepworth, whose team are top of the NCEL Division I and visit Hallam tomorrow, said: “This is fantastic news for our football club.

“It’s testimony to the tremendous amount of work taking place off the field to help generate results on it.

“As with all of our sponsors we are very proud to be associated with them and grateful for their support.”

The deal starts on Monday and the newly-sponsored home shirt will be worn for the first time at home to Teversal a week tomorrow.
