What's the nearest train station to the ground?
St James' Park is a 10 to 15 minute walk from Newcastle Central Station, with pubs, bars and restaurants lining the roads up to the ground.
There is also a St James' metro station which will take you directly to the station from Monument.
Buses and taxis are also available from the station, but traffic can get heavy on match days.
What's the parking situation?
There are numerous car parks near to the St James' Park.
At the Gallowgate end is a small car park, however, because the ground is so central to the city, parking is much easier than most places.
There are a lot of spots around the city for visitors to pay and display. Most notable ones are The Gate Car Park, The NCP multi-story car park on John Dobson Street and Grosvenor Casino.
There is also two park and ride services available, one just off the motorway and the other at the Metro Centre via the Soccer bus.
Where should away fans drink?
The home fans' pub is the Strawberry, located opposite the Gallowgate End - no away fans are accepted into the Newcastle faithful's pub.
Some pubs in very close proximity to the ground also will not allow away supporters entry, but the stadium is in the heart of the city, with many other pubs and bars close.
It's a good idea to start at the station; O'Neill's, Union Rooms, Head of Steam and The Mile Castle are popular venues for both home and away supporters.
The Gate is probably the most popular pub for away fans, located even closer to St James'.
If the weather is good, it may be worth a visit down to the Quayside where you can find a range of bars, including a Wetherspoons, and restaurants. There is a bus (Q1) that will take you back into town for cheap.
