Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez has confirmed Moussa Sissoko will be in the Magpies squad for the Huddersfield Town match on Saturday.

Sissoko returned to full training with the squad on Thursday after training alone earlier in the week.

The Frenchman is at the centre of much speculation following his string of good performances at Euro 2016, with Real Madrid, Juventus and Everton reportedly interested in the 26-year-old.

Benitez did put his own time-frame on the deal if one is to be done however, suggesting the club would not accept a bid should it come late in the transfer window.

The Spaniard also confirmed new signings Ciaran Clark and Mohamed Diame will be in the squad for the visit of the Terriers, having signed the pair late last week.

Clark joined the Mags for £5m from Aston Villa, with Diame signing for an undisclosed fee from Hull.

Benitez has also warned his players ahead of their first home match of the season.

The Champions League winning manager told the press his team must give their all in every home match to secure three points, as teams will be out to grasp famous victories at St James' Park.
