MARK ROBINS is confident he already has the players to keep Huddersfield Town in the Championship.

The manager hasn’t ruled out bringing in reinforcements ahead of the Football League loan transfer deadline next Thursday.

But Robins won’t be unduly worried if his only signing until the close-season remains striker Theo Robinson on loan from Derby.

“There’s no doubt about it, when we have everyone available, we have a very capable squad and certainly one which can do the job required,” said the boss, whose side are 16th in the second tier, five points above the relegation zone, after winning 2-1 at Leeds.

“If there is anyone out there who can make a difference, we will try to do a deal to bring them in, but that’s the same throughout the season.

“There’s no need to panic whatever happens. There are people already in the building who are good enough, they just need to produce on a consistent basis.”

Robins, meanwhile, wants Town’s internationals to get as much game time as possible tonight.

Defender Joel Lynch is with Wales ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Scotland in Glasgow.

Midfielder Oliver Norwood is hoping for a Northern Ireland call against Russia in Belfast.

And on-loan duo Jermaine Beckford and Theo Robinson hope to play for Jamaica against Panama in a clash with kicks off at 1.30am tomorrow British time.

“They are representing their countries, which is great for the players and the profile of our club, and they have the chance to stay sharp with meaningful matches and training sessions,” said Robins, whose team return to action at home to Hull a week tomorrow.

"I want them to have as much time on the pitch as possible, both in tomorrow’s matches and those on Tuesday, and then come back to the club, in most cases next Thursday, fully fit and ready for these final eight games of the season.”
