David Wagner was celebrating back-to-back wins for the first time as Huddersfield Town boss after watching his side down Wolves 1-0 at the John Smith's Stadium.
Players and manager had talked this week about building on the momentum of a fine 2-0 win away at Nottingham Forest last weekend and they did exactly that.
It was an entirely different game to the one in the East Midlands, with Town dominating possession and Wolves camped in their own half for the majority of the first 80 minutes.
However, they struggled to create clear cut chances - out of 14 efforts on goal only one was on target. However, that one was put away by Nahki Wells, the hero of the hour who scored the only goal of the game to give Town deserved victory from a hard-fought contest.
Joel Lynch and Philip Billling were outstanding for Town's cause and it is a welcome end to an excellent week for the Terriers.
Here's what Town fans made of the match.
Ahead of the game, one or two fans were a little nervous about this feeling of optimism - they've been burned by overconfidence before now!
There were plaudits aplenty for Joel Lynch, who turned in a towering display at the heart of defence.
But after a half of few chances, there were mixed feelings at the interval.
The goal Town craved and deserved finally arrived after 78 minutes - after a pair of inspired subs from David Wagner.
And at full time, there was a sense that this gritty win showed that this new Town can find ways to win even on tough days.
Many paused to hail the superb work in the stands driven by North Stand Loyal.
And at least one fan will be straight on the phone when season cards are released!
