Former Leeds United favourite Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is the latest name to be linked to the Huddersfield Town managerial vacancy by bookies.

BetVictor have the former Dutch international down at 12/1 for the post.

He has managed Belgian side Royal Antwerp and been a coach at Nottingham Forest.

Hasselbaink, who scored nine goals in 23 international appearances, also played for Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Middlesbrough, Charlton Athletic and Cardiff City.

Town, without a manager since Mark Robins’ departure on August 10, are in the process of conducting second interviews.

Stand-in manager Mark Lillis, ex-Charlton chief Chris Powell, former Fulham coach Billy McKinlay and Coventry City boss Steven Pressley are believed to be the frontrunners.
