Huddersfield Town’s Ishmael Miller will be trying to outshine former Blackpool frontline colleague Nathan Delfouneso when Blackburn Rovers come to the John Smith’s Stadium.

Manchester City product Miller came off the bench at Hull City before starting the Capital One Cup clash with Notts County, both of which Town lost.

Blackburn also been beaten in both games so far, at home to Wolves in the Championship and Shrewsbury Town in the Capital One.

And Delfouneso, who was playing alongside Miller at Bloomfield Road this time last season, says Rovers must rectify matters fast.

“We’ve got to pick ourselves back up now,” said the ex-Aston Villa man.

“We’ve got an away game against Huddersfield and it will be another tough one.

“In the Championship every game is difficult, but we’ve got to be confident.

“We’ve got to be up for it and go there with a positive mentality and look for the three points.

“We are looking forward to it and hopefully we can get that first win. Our season has got to start.”

Blackburn boss Gary Bowyer could hand a full debut to winger Mo Barrow.

The 22-year-old Gambian international has come in on loan from Swansea City and played as a substitute against Shrewsbury.

Barrow, who joined Swansea from Swedish side Norrkoping, had a previous loan at Nottingham Forest.

“I’m really happy to be here,” said the 22-year-old. “I played against them twice last season and both times it was a tough game.”
