Paul Dixon says perseverance will pay off for Town.

Mark Robins’ men head into Championship action at Brighton tomorrow frustrated at having lost their last two games.

But the left-back, who has helped Town win two of their last three away games, says sticking to their passing game will reap rewards.

“We were a bit deflated after last Saturday’s defeat by Reading, but the performance and the chances were there, we just couldn’t quite take them,” said the left-back.

“It’s unfortunate we let one in, because apart from their goal, they never really threatened us much. I felt we were in the ascendancy for most of the time.

“We are playing good stuff and we need to keep doing what the manager is trying to get us to do. If we do that, it will come off.

“The main thing is to keep believing in ourselves, because if we do, we can beat anybody in this league.”

Town fans can buy tickets at the Amex Stadium tomorrow or from the stadium office until noon today.

Prices are £25 for adults, £20 for Over 65s, £10 for Under 18s and £5 for Under 10s.

Coach travel is still available from Town’s ticket office at £21.50, departing Canalside at 7.30am.

Town’s FA Youth Cup fourth-round tie against West Brom will take place at The Hawthorns on Tuesday, January 14 (7.00).

The Under 18s aren’t back in Professional Development League action until Saturday, January 11, when they host Sheffield Wednesday (11.00).
