Huddersfield Town have recovered from a nightmare start to the Championship season to reach the latest international hiatus in much finer fettle, after Chris Powell masterminded two wins and two draws from his opening six games at the helm.

There was initial disappointment as a last-minute home defeat to Middlesbrough was backed up by a frustrating 0-0 draw against Wigan Athletic, before the derby defeat at Leeds United.

But since then, Powell has turned things around considerably with seven points in the space of a week to leave Town fans in good spirits and thoroughly anticipating their rejuvenated side's double header against Blackpool and Brighton and Hove Albion after the international break.
