Huddersfield Town slipped to a second successive league defeat as they fell 3-1 at Fulham thanks to goals from Hugo Rodallega, Lasse Vigen Christensen and Ross McCormack.
Rodallega gave the Cottagers a first-half lead against the run of play but Town rallied in the second half and deservedly netted an equaliser through central defender Joel Lynch with just 15 minutes remaining.
But the Terriers conceded straight from kick-off as Christensen danced through to dink past Smithies before McCormack sealed the three points with a powerful drive from range.
