Huddersfield Town suffered a third league loss in a row for the first time this season after an abject display in the 2-0 defeat to Rotherham United.

The visitors took the lead on the stroke of half-time as Kari Arnason converted former Town full-back Jack Hunt's right-wing centre and it got worse for the Terriers in the second half as Conor Sammon doubled the Millers' advantage with an assured finish.

Steve Evans' side were reduced to 10 men late on when Lee Frecklington picked up a second booking for a high challenge on Conor Coady, but Town were unable to rally and provide a grandstand finish, with the visitors closing out the game with relative ease to move within two points of Chris Powell and his men.
