Huddersfield Town romped to a convincing 3-0 win over former league leaders Nottingham Forest to make it seven games unbeaten - their longest run without defeat since returning to the Championship in 2012.

The three-goal success, handed to them by Joel Lynch, Nahki Wells and Grant Holt, also brought to an end the nine-year hex Forest have had on the Terriers, with Chris Powell's side full value for the win.

They took the lead in the opening minute through Lynch's header from a giant Jack Robinson throw-in before Holt delivered a teasing cross from the left which Wells nodded home.

Holt sealed the three points for Town when he drilled home from the edge of the penalty area after a sublime cut-back by man-of-the-match Sean Scannell.
