Chris Powell is ready to turn up the heat as Huddersfield Town prepare for their first pre-season friendly on Saturday.
After two days of fitness tests, the players took to the turf at PPG Canalside on Friday for the first of a series of training sessions, which will continue this week.
They will be interspersed with games, starting with the trip to Nethermoor to take on National League top-flight newcomers Guiseley.
The day after, Town head to Spain for a week-long training camp which includes a work-out against Leyton Orient, of League II.
Games against Grimsby Town, Rochdale and Barnsley follow ahead of the big Championship kick-off against Hull City at the KC Stadium on August 8.
Admission at Guiseley, where kick-off is 3.00, is adults £10, concessions £5, accompanied under 12s free.
