Huddersfield Town's first-team squad continued their preparations for the 2014/2015 Championship season on Friday in their latest fitness session.

Mark Robins and his side will jet off to Portugal on Sunday for a week-long pre-season training camp which encompasses two friendly games, one behind closed doors against Doncaster Rovers and the other against SC Portimonense after fellow Portuguese opposition SC Olhanense pulled the plug on the proposed fixture.

And ahead of their departure, Town were out on the training pitches at PPG Canalside today to undergo their final preparations for the trip to the Vale de Lobo complex in the Algarve.

James Vaughan was again present as Town's star forward continues his rehabilitation from surgery to remove a cyst on his knee while the man he could partner next season - Nahki Wells - was also in attendance.

New signings Joe Murphy and Lee Peltier continued their bedding-in periods, or a re-bedding in the latter's case, as the players looked to prove their fitness to manager Mark Robins.

Town's game against Doncaster will be on Tuesday evening before the encounter with Portuguese Segunda Liga outfit Portimonense on July 19, with a kick-off time of 7.30pm.

Upon their return to the UK, Town will continue their build-up for the 2014/2015 campaign by playing AFC Guiseley (Monday 21 July - 7.45pm kick-off), Scunthorpe United (Saturday 26 July - 3pm kick-off), Sheffield United (Tuesday 29 July - 7.45pm kick-off), Oldham Athletic (Saturday August 2 - 3pm kick-off) before hosting Newcastle United (Tuesday 5 August - 7.45pm kick-off).
