THOSE present at last week's open Supporters Trust meeting heard updates on current Trust projects.

The plans for the Storthes Hall project are still on hold, pending a satisfactory conclusion to the purchase of the land required.

However, there was an interesting discussion on the requisite funding.

The Trust has already committed its £50,000 reserve to attract matched funding to multiply it 10-fold.

That may not be sufficient, in which case the club will raise additional funding, as chief executive Andrew Watson explained.

* Supporters Bar: Trust chairman Robert Pepper expressed disappointment that the capacity seems to have been set at 100.

Public safety regulations have been checked and appear to be at odds with building controls.

* Toilet facilities: Andrew Watson reported at the meeting that the plans had gone back to brewery staff for clarification.

The meeting also heard that, thanks to a local benefactor, the Roll of Honour is committed for completion to be ready in time for permanent display in the Supporters Bar at the start of next season.

The second half of the meeting was an open session with former Town favourite Keith Hanvey and covered a broad range of issues, including the financial problems faced by many football clubs.

It was also confirmed that the Trust, with Mr Hanvey's assistance, is targeting the completion of a book of memories from both players and fans in time for Christmas sales.
