Huddersfield Town’s Capital One Cup first-round tie against Notts County went ahead at 7.45 as planned after a power cut at the John Smith’s Stadium was rectified.

There were worries over the game going ahead after the two stands due to be in use for the game and the floodlights were affected for around half an hour.

No supporters had entered the stadium at the time of the power cut, and contingency plans were drawn up to use the other two stands before the problem was fixed.
