I WAS really happy to start my first game of the season and to mark it with a clean sheet.
No-one wants to get a chance in these circumstances when a teammate is injured, but these things happen and you've got to do your best to make the most of the opportunity.
I got straight into the game and didn't really have too much to do. I was a bit nervous at Stockport going on so late in the game, but I was fine this time and managed to make a couple of saves when I had to.
It wasn't the best of matches, we all realise that, but we worked hard and got a good point in the end.
Obviously we are disappointed it wasn't three points to give us the maximum, but we've just got to look to take a solid start into the next game.
Hartlepool are a decent side and it should be an exciting game, so we are all looking forward to playing against them in front of the Sky cameras here at our home stadium.
I'm sure the fans will turn out again in big numbers.
To have almost 12,000 here is really tremendous and they were very noisy, which was great.
But we do get fantastic support both home and away and, while Chesterfield made it hard by closing us down, at least we got a point out of it.
