QPR are interested in Huddersfield Town defender Joel Lynch, according to reports.

The 28-year-old centre-back has caught the eye with impressive displays under David Wagner.

But Town have stressed all along they are under no pressure to sell any player to generate funds for signings.

Town have already signed Rajiv Van la Parra and German defenders Michael Hefele and Chris Lowe, plus goalkeeper Luke Coddington for the Under 21s – and Wagner has indicated more players are on his radar with a budget already in place.

Lynch made 40 appearances for Town last season, scoring two goals, and is a firm favourite with the Town faithful, having made almost 130 appearances since signing from Nottingham Forest in July 2012.
