Chris Powell says Radi Majewski can still play a part for Huddersfield Town this season.

The on-loan Nottingham Forest midfielder and Polish international has made just three appearances, all from the bench, since Powell became manager in September.

The gaffer says Majewski, 28, has suffered as a result of Jacob Butterfield’s consistency, but says his attitude has always remained good.

“The problem is that Jacob also plays in Radi’s position, and he has been very good for us this season,” explained Powell.

“He is very creative, scores goals and links well with my other midfielders, and it is hard to get two forward-thinking players into that area.

“I’ve been happy with my midfield on most occasions, and that has made it hard for Radi, who has just had the odd cameo here and there.

“But his attitude has been excellent, I like the way he trains and conducts himself, and he may still have a part to play.”

Majewski, who has made nine Town appearances in all, is out of contract at Forest this summer.
