Reece James is happy to put the talking on hold and focus on Huddersfield Town’s last four matches of the Championship campaign.

The on-loan Manchester United left-back made his third appearance for the club at Nottingham Forest.

He has already won praise from manager Chris Powell, who has hinted he could try to borrow the 21-year-old for a longer spell next season.

But James, who has made one appearance for the Old Trafford club and signed a new United contract earlier this season, is happy to play the waiting game.

“I’m very impressed with the club and the facilities, and the fans have been good to me,” said the Bacup-born player.

“I have settled well and I’ve really enjoyed my time here.

“Given my age, I need to be getting some games under my belt.

“I had a spell at Rotherham earlier this season, which I enjoyed, and I’m pleased to have this opportunity now.

“Championship football is fast and direct, and there always seems to be an opponent coming at you.

“It’s great experience for me, and I’m enjoying learning from the manager, who of course was a left-back himself.

“My aim is to play as well as possible over the remaining matches.

“Then I can sit down with United and see where we go next.”
