What did Huddersfield Town fans make of the performance in the 4-1 home defeat to Wolves?

Chris Powell endured the heaviest home defeat of his reign so far as the play-off chasing visitors pierced through Town with some incisive counter-attacking football and Nouha Dicko had them ahead as early as the 12th minute.

Town were competitive in the first half but were unable to truly break down the Wolves backline and were made to pay when Conor Coady headed into his own net from a Bakary Sako corner just seconds into the second period.

Former loan Terrier Benik Afobe made it three and, although James Vaughan did pull one back from a Sean Scannell cut-back, Dicko rounded things off with his second and Wolves' fourth late on.

We collated your ratings from our player ratings scale below to see what you made of each performer as the Terriers fell to a second home defeat on the spin, the first time that has happened under Powell.

A lack of consistency together with a toothless finishing performance. Not sure about Miller. We missed Wells.Tony, Salendine Nook.

A cross between a mugging and smash and grab. Our defence isn't quick enough to play so high up the field so three goals came from counter attacks all compounded by our lack of finishing. Hope Wells and Hogg are back on Saturday otherwise we could get another job done on us. Roger, Kirkburton.

Second best in every area, a goalkeeper who dominated his area, a solid back four who won everything in the air, a dominant midfield who were given far too much room and far more pace and movement up front. We were poor. Coady and Butterfield needed far too much time to get the ball forward and did not close down their midfield. We had no movement up front with, at times in the second half, four forwards standing with their markers waiting for the ball and a huge gap between them and the rest of the team. Terry, Lincoln.

Our slow defence was exposed by a speedy and well organised Wolves attack. Wallace does not have the speed on the turn to cope with swift forwards. We missed Lynch and Hogg. Our attacks lacked guile and Miller was an on-looker who seemed lethargic on his debut. Very disspiriting.Frank, Salendine Nook.

Scoreline not a true reflection of the game, but we were second best. Miller and Edgar only offer physical presence and none of the qualities required to make us either competitive or entertaining. Current results are exactly the same as last year after 30 games, so I guess we are in for a long hard end to the season, and possibly no improvement.Dick, Waterloo.

Lots of endeavour but lack of quality. Goalkeeping position still worrying. We looked short in midfield throughout. Looking down the league again. Arthur, Shepley.

The big difference was the pace at which they attack and get support from midfield. We are too pedestrian and the front two got very little support from our two central midfielder's. When we do get into scoring positions we hesitate or try to walk it in and the chance is gone. How we miss Jonathan Hogg. The other point is without Lynch, Hudson and Wallace are not the quickest defenders and we are easily exposed.David, Huddersfield.

Second best all over the pitch except maybe on the right where Scannell did his best to cause problems with no support. Poor home performance again which will only turn more supporters away, Dean Hoyle must wonder if his teams are determined to undermine all the good he has done for us.Roger, Menston.

Disappointing result. Not strong enough all round, too easily knocked off the ball and far too slow all over the pitch. Scannell lost his impetus when moved over to the left to accommodate Lolley. David, Lindley.

If there's a slower central pairing than Hudson and Wallace I've not seen them. Combine that with inexperienced Smith and Bunn and flatter-to-deceive Vaughan and yet another defeat was inevitable. Powell is nowhere near sorting out this lot.Nigel, Marsh.

We were too slow and laboured so the many shots we had were from distance or in a crowded area. Once more lacked pace, power and movement. The 4-4-2 often cried for by fans showed its limitations as a system when it leaves midfield outnumbered. The forwards in the second half seemed to stand in a line holding hands with their markers and the gap between attack and defence was massive.Richard, Lincoln.

The big gap in midfield meant we were open to Wolves' counter-attacks and struggled to get numbers into their box – our many shots were not close enough or good enough. The defence was vulnerable without Lynch and Hogg.Ian, County Durham.
