What did Huddersfield Town fans make of the performance in the 1-1 draw at Bournemouth?

Town fought hard to secure a share of the spoils at the Goldsands Stadium, where they initially trailed to Chris Powell's former Charlton Athletic prodigy Yann Kermorgant's first-half strike.

But James Vaughan hit back in the second half when he reacted quickest to turn home Jack Robinson's mishit shot into the back of a stunned Artur Boruc's net.

Alex Smithies then preserved a point for his side with a series of fine saves to thwart Eddie Howe's men as they looked to move two points clear at the summit.

Grit and determination, the lads put a real shift in against a talented Bournemouth side. Smithies was brilliant. Effort typified by Vaughan chasing a hopeless cause into the corner just by the Town fans. Miller nearly won it for us near the end with strong play down the left. No need to fear anyone in this division, on our day we are a match for anyone. Chris Powell got the game plan working.Ian, Basingstoke.

Massive point after the last two results, real battling performance and could have nicked it at the end, now need to have the same commitment at home.David, Wyke.

Very disciplined performance from the Terriers today, everyone played their part in this hard-earned point and hopefully we can push on against Cardiff next Saturday.Shane, Golcar.

This was a tactical achievement for Town considering Bournemouth put Town to the sword on the opening day of the season. Smithies and Vaughan were outstanding. It just goes to show when Vaughan is fit he is a real threat to any team. We must attack teams to survive in the championship.Derek, Linthwaite.

A strong performance. Our defence did its job and held on for the point. Let's hope we can rediscover our winning form at home.Arthur, Huddersfield.

Great performance defensively. Smithies played so very well. Could do with a balance between defence and attack though. Wells has so much to offer that it is a waste to see him on the bench. Lolley could also be used to greater effect too. Town have shown again that they are talented players who need better tactical leadership to achieve the positive results that their efforts deserve.Richard, Kirkburton.
