Huddersfield Town manager Chris Powell revealed that he would consider dipping into the loan market for added reinforcements to his squad after seeing his side beaten 3-0 by Leeds United in the West Yorkshire derby at the weekend.

Powell claimed he may look to bring in as many as three players to boost the ranks and there has already been speculation over a potential forward arrival, with former Chelsea striker Marko Mitrovic - now a free agent after being released from Brescia - being linked with a move.

While it is yet unclear whether or not any move for Mitrovic will come to fruition or is even on the cards, Town's search for a frontman has been exacerbated in any case by James Vaughan's latest injury layoff .

We asked Town supporters to give us their views on which three players they would like the club to sign and forwards were high on the agenda.

Chris Wood seemed to be the most popular option , with the Leicester City striker currently playing second fiddle to club-record signing Leonardo Ulloa and his only start so far this season came in the Capital One Cup defeat to Shrewsbury Town.

Other names to receive more than one mention were Danny Graham, Grant Holt and even former Terrier Jermaine Beckford, who has lost his place in the starting XI at Bolton Wanderers and could consider a move away to revitalise his stalling career.

Graham has been touted as a potential target for a few clubs in the Championship and Holt has endured similar struggles to those of Beckford so far this season, in that he has hardly figured at all for a team in the same division as Town in Wigan Athletic.

With first-team opportunities seemingly scarce for a host of youngsters in the Premier League, the likes of Jordan Rossiter and James Wilson - of Liverpool and Manchester United respectively - have also been mentioned as potential loan signings.
