ANDY RITCHIE is ready to invest in a new suit for Town’s big FA Cup tie at Chelsea – but it will come from a sports shop not Savile Row.

Two seasons ago, then managers Peter Jackson and Jose Mourinho went head to head in the fashion stakes as their sides did battle on the pitch.

When it comes to match days, both Ritchie and Blues boss Avram Grant (right) tend to plump for club-crested apparel, with the former donning a hooded top and the latter a bench coat.

“One of my old Oldham mates Andy Rhodes, who is now the goalkeeping coach at Ipswich, takes the mickey by calling me a hoodie,” revealed Ritchie, who takes his team to Stamford Bridge two weeks today.

“I might smarten myself up for Chelsea, but it will be a new tracksuit, not a three-piece.”

The Chelsea fifth-round game is all-ticket, and Town’s 6,126 allocation go on sale to first-priority customers on Monday morning.

Fans are reminded the concession qualification is Under 16 and Over 60.

The home League I game against Brighton, which should have taken place a fortnight today, has been rearranged for Tuesday, March 18 (7.45).

A new date will now be found for the home reserve match against Leicester which was on Wednesday March 19.
