Rob Lewis will referee Huddersfield Town’s Championship clash at Blackpool on Saturday.

It’s a 19th appointment of the season for the Shropshire official, who took Sunday’s 2-2 draw between Coventry and Port Vale in League I.

Lewis last took a Town game in August 2012, when he was in the middle for the 2-0 Capital One Cup first-round defeat at Preston.

But he was in charge of a Blackpool game as recently as January 18, when they lost 2-0 at Barnsley.

Lewis has issued four red cards and 71 yellows this season.

Based in Shrewsbury, he took his first Football League game in 2005 after a string of Conference appointments.

Injury interrupted his career between 2008-10, but he worked his way back onto the League list having earned a FIFA badge as an assistant referee.

Tickets are on sale for the Blackpool game.

It’s £24 adults, £19 over 60s, £16 16-18-year-olds and £14 under 18s at Bloomfield Road.

Terriers travel is £12.50, leaving PPG Canalside at 11.45am.

Town are at home to Middlesbrough next Tuesday (March 25) and go to Reading on Saturday, March 29.
