TWO second-half goals condemned Town to a disappointing derby defeat.

SImon Grayson's side started brightly against his former employers, with Chris Atkinson firing his first goal for the club on only his third start from ex-Leeds midfielder Adam Clayton's pass in the 12th minute.

Leeds, bossed by former Town manager Neil Warnock, responded with two goal in three minutes, first through Michael Tonge, whose low shot squirmed under Alex Smithies' body, and then Luciano Becchio, who curled the ball home from 20 yards.

It was level pegging at the break after Clayton fired home his third penalty of the the campaign, and fourth goal, after Becchio's foul on Anthony Gerrard.

Leeds got back in front through David Norris, who drilled home on the turn in the 70th minute, and top scorer Becchio sealed the away win by heading his 14th goal of the campaign four minutes from time.
