JORDAN RHODES' double ensured Town entered the record books despite Alan Lee's sending off.

The striker was shown a straight red card after a 60th-minute challenge which floored Sam Sodje.

Town were one to the good by that stage, with Rhodes heading home from Jack Hunt's cross in the first minute of the second half.

And Rhodes struck again within five minutes of Lee's dismissal, pouncing on ex-Town defender Krystian Pearce's slip to slot home his 15th goal of the season at club level.

Neal Bishop netted for Notts with just seconds of stoppage time remaining.

Town have now gone 43 League games unbeaten - a new Football League record.
