STEVE YATES missed training today and is a worry for Saturday's trip to Cambridge.

The in-form centre-back - a key performer in the club's unbeaten four-match run - is under treatment for a groin injury which has flared up since yesterday.

"I'm hopeful Steve will feel okay in another 24 hours and that he'll be able to travel with the squad tomorrow, but at this stage we can't be sure," said Town manager Peter Jackson.

"Obviously we want Steve involved if possible because in the last few games he has been outstanding.

"He is our Mr Consistency. You always know what you are going to get from Steve - a wholehearted display and bags of experience."

Ian Hughes (knee) is under treatment while David Mirfin trained today.
