EFE SODJE has been fined a week's wages by Town.
The team captain has been hit in the pocket for his red card in the derby defeat by Barnsley.
Manager Peter Jackson revealed today he felt the incident was clear-cut and had no plans to appeal.
"I've watched it more than enough times and I can't find any defence for Efe whatsoever," said Jackson, who spoke to the centre-back after training yesterday.
"He swung his arm out and, while it might not have been intentional, he definitely made contact with the Barnsley lad.
"That's what the referee saw and the video backs it up, so there are no excuses.
"Considering there were only 20 seconds to go and it costs us a three-match ban, I'm very disappointed by it.
"That's why I've fined Efe the maximum amount, a week's wages."
Sodje can't play again until October 9.
