THE Development Association recently held a forum for supporters groups to put questions to club officials, and these are some the answers we received.

Regarding a supporters bar, we were told: "This will definitely be included in the extensions planned at the stadium - hopefully ready for next season.

"The facility should be available for meetings throughout the week, not just on matchdays.

"It will also incorporate a new Hall of Fame and it is proposed that this will also house the Roll of Honour - surely a fitting setting for it."

In the meantime we asked what can be done about the poor service on matchdays and could the caterers offer healthier choices?

The reply was: "The club is aware of matchday problems but recognises that it will take time for the new caterers to address them. A request for healthier choices has been relayed to them."

Time is clearly required but suggestions were also made at the meeting on ways to improve the speed of service on the concourses at half-time.

Supporters travelling to Blackpool for the match on October 30, will be able to use the temporary stand, housing 1,900 fans, after it had been granted a new safety certificate after its recent collapse during the match against Luton.

Although the original Customer Charter is still with the Football League, copies were distributed at the meeting and are now being studied prior to feedback.

It is hoped that it will also be available on the website.

The Charter is still in draft stage but it clearly presents an opportunity for fans to voice their concerns to the club about any issue such as the policy for Friend for a Fiver vouchers.
