Huddersfield Town are being linked with a move for non-league prospect Will Spetch.

Spetch, 22, currently plays as a central defender for Poole Town in the Calor League Premier Division.

He is currently training with Championship rivals Bournemouth, who Town put five past earlier this season , but according to reports, scouts from the Terriers have given him the thumbs up.

However as well as Bournemouth, a number of other clubs are interested in the former left-back including Portsmouth and Exeter City.

Poole Town, who had QPR striker Charlie Austin upfront in 2008 before his switch to the Football League, have reportedly declined to comment on whether Town had requested permission to run the rule over Spetch, who is contracted with the Dorset club.
